It’s been a while since we checked in on Design for Obama. If you’re not familiar yet, the basic concept is a free site where designers can submit and have rated their Obama related pieces. There’s been a flurry of submissions and critiques since we last posted about this site, the above are just a few of our personal favorites.

he's a great politician…one that can spew words with the best of 'em and have no meaning. will believe in change when it REALLY happens.

Um…didn't all dictators have a sign in which the people drew all over the place? Are you kidding me people? This is exactly how dictators all go their power, by making saps like you believe in "change"!!! Hitler promised change!!! Stalin promised change!!! Let's draw their signs everywhere so that they know we are loyal. wow, simply, wow! You are doing nothing but repeating history.

Great visual work, really cool! The one thing negative I would say is that the "Ultimate Colorblindness" one is essentially sending the message: If you don't vote for Obama, you're a racist… Don't get me wrong, it's a clever idea from a graphics standpoint, but the message behind it is wrong.

But let me guess anonymous, you are okay with the pledge of allegiance?I hardly think you can compare Obama's campaign to Hitler or Stalin, but hey, if you want to, go nuts with that.(If you want to get particular he could never achieve what Hitler and Stalin did because the middle class is way to large in America, we would need a whole lot more poverty.)

November 13, 2008 6:36 AM Yes they do BUT, some dictators sneak in slowly like 'Hitler' did. Or fly-in on a jet and land on a Carrier or give his 'friends' corporate Welfare with bail-outs ! Sorry!

To the poor under-educated soul that previously posted evidence of Godwin's Law (google it, if you can figure that out), I would like to point out the fact that, as in most dictatorial regimes, one of the first groups Hitler came after was artists. So, if anyone here is continuing in that vein, it is YOU.

So people got creative about Obama's campaign… It's a campaign. Of course there are going to be signs all over the place. His just happened to be a bit more artistic. And as for your comparison to Hitler's rise to dictator…FDR asked Congress for the same power that Hitler asked for. The only difference was that FDR didn't get it, and that was in the worst of times, as it was in Germany. Our system of checks and balances is too strong and too well established to allow a dictatorship. Obama has to go out in 8 years, at the most. Congress would never allow him to stay any longer without a constitutional amendment, which isn't going to happen. Everybody does propaganda, so saying that Obama is going to institute a dictatorship just because his signs have more than names on them is a bum argument.

It is sad when people see a wonderful thing like hope and people coming together and then try to put ugly labels on it like dictator. What you have done here is showcase art that reflect how a people living in shadows for eight years now, feel when they get to see a ray of sunlight. Stay positive man. Awesome things are in the works!

I am not an Obama fan. However, I do feel that it is a bit of a stretch to draw a Hitler comparison based on the artist theory. Hitler reached out to the art community because he fancied himself an artist. With that said, these really do smack of a sort of idol worship that is quite frightening. I worship no man or idol.

This makes me want to vomit! I am seriously afraid that we are all putting our eggs in one basket here!! Understand, I voted for him. But you cant just have HOPE. There must be ACTION. HOPE accomplishes NOTHING without ACTION. Voting is not action. Its saying you want Obama to act. Go act yourself. Get together with your city council and get involved. Make a difference yourself ye' lazy bastards.
