The best eBay auction we’ve seen this week:
Barack Obama in lego form. Comprised of 8,000 lego bricks, this portrait of Obama done in the Fairey style measures in at massive 30″ x 30″ and is available now on the ‘bay. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Obama campaign.
Check it out here
The worst Ebay auction we’ve seen this week:
Audacity of Hope/Change by Randy Rusten. An original 18″ x 24″ canvas painting “situated over the campaign’s Change theme, capturing the focus in vibrant color”.
Now I know I’ve definitely seen worst paintings of Obama and I might even go as far as saying that this piece isn’t allll that bad. However, I (and this is entirely personal here people) feel that the asking price is a little steep. To be listed “the worst ebay auction of the week” really takes a lot, and in this particular case, it takes a 1 million dollar starting price.
Yes.
One – million – dollars.
What’s even better is that this is the starting price, not the buy it now price. Guess the seller is expecting it go higher?
All you millionaires out there, feel free to bid here
